I managed to promote the phrase enjoy games to position two in Google
for my site (Games to Enjoy).
I get nice traffic from this phrase.

Do you have any phrase that you promoted to high position in Google?

I recently changed our name but before the change I was ranking 3rd in Google for "professional website hosting".

On my blog I rank on the 1st page for "skateboarding newsletter" and "secrets of skateboarding"

That's a fair point. Even "professional website hosting" didn't bring me much traffic which is why I'm not disappointed that I have lost that place

Everybody witters on about "being top in Google", link dropping a single phrase hither and thither and being generally clueless about anything that actually means anything.

just started to seo my site a week ago....not high in google yet, but up to 3 in yahoo/bing for my key phrase. Google takes so long lol.

Yes. You are ranked number 2 and your domain name helped your ranking a lot because your domain name exactly include this term on it.

I get this traffic from google.
According to google keywords tool there are 8,100 searches for this phrase per month.
My revenues come from adsense, and I am quite satisfied from my earning.
As far as I know there is no way to identify how many clicks on ads came from this pharse (correct me if I am wrong).

So your getting 3,000 visitors from the 8,000 searchers per month, thats pretty good going, I've never got anywhere near that sort of percentage

That's one of the useful things that "bounce rate" can tell you.

I guess it is related to the fact that my site is positioned two for this phrase,
and it is very relevant for this search.
