I am really coming to believe that nofollow inlinks are probably just as good as inlinks without a nofollow from low end pages for serps, now let me qualify what I mean by low end, a page that gets 10 to 20 visits perday, ie of little interest to the world in general.
So I got me a website with around 7 or 800 pages on it plus a forum, everyday I do a bit of work on interlinking the pages, but generally these are no follow links to pages that google has already indexed, 1 page in particular I noticed, for 3 or 4 years it has sat at 9th or 10th on first page of google, occasionally it nips onto second page of google for a holiday or whatever, but never raised higher than 9th, it's now zoomed into 6th place, it does not deserve 6th place and isn't a page i would bother promoting, the only difference between now and the past 3 or so years is it has maybe 10 more nofollow inlinks which I put in over the last couple of weeks.
I have noticed this a lot with other pages of mine, and it really does seem that nofollow inlinks do influence your serps.
