Hello friends,

It is quite easy to create a website. Do you think there would be any advantages of doing it mainly to boost PR to other sites that you are working on? Actually, I like to build websites. I find it extremely easy to create a site with a high page rank merely linking to it from some of my other sites. Furthermore, do you think I would gain from creating partner sites for every site so that if I indulge in reciprocal linking, I could get links to my main site? Kindly shed light on the same. Thanks.

We know there are many factors that affect Google PageRank. All of them are very important but there are several factors that make the biggest affect. As we all know content is a queen. If you have interesting content bloggers will link to you and this way you will get valuable back links. The more back links you have the more points you get.

That sounds like a good idea. It's difficult to get link exchanges sometimes. However, if you already own sites with high page rank, age or both then it can be easier.

All the factors affect the page rank. But content can drive anything. Keep on posting good content and you will see a change yourself.

^So using yellow text wont improve my page rank, thats a bit of a blow. Still, people were complaining that it was difficult to read on the white background, back to the drawing board then.

I believe submitting a good content article in high PR article directories could boost the page rank for it creates good back links.

OP, If I'm correct what you are saying is something like a link-wheel. If this is what you are referring then it is a total no no from google.

Continual fresh and relevant content along with high PR backlinks (not to mention on page factors) should do the trick.

Correct.

Or rather.

It's a good way of building totally useless backlinks that could earn the site at the centre a penalty!

Agreed. Toolbar PR is irrelevant and the actual PR that really matters.

Agreed, there are few things considered in ‘link’ as a factor
Larry Page himself outlines the following potential influencing factors in his patent specifications for Page Rank:

Visibility of a link
Position of a link within a document
Distance between web pages
Importance of a linking page
Up-to-dateness of a linking page

Creating only a website has nothing to do with your pagerank. You need to acquire backlinks on it in order to increase your pagerank.
