I live in Memphis TN... doesnt make a diff..

so you go to google and type:

link:www.customtailoredsolutions.com

and you see 19 links?!

go to the second page and click show ommited results...maybe thatll do it?

He has 19 back links by google and 215 back links by yahoo

I really don't understand why some of us get 544 and others 19. It just makes absolutely no sense.

k im retarded..

i was putting a space between link: and the name of my site...

but I nowe have another question.. why dont I have more backlinks when I know there are more than 2,000 good backlinks out there that point to my site.. like this forum has 351 now and google has only found 19 links??

can somone help me understand.. thanks

I think you misunderstand the concept of backlinks. This is one domain, just because you have 354 posts does not mean that all these posts will count as a seperate backlink.

Google seems to count only one backlink per domain. And I think that is the better way to do it.

I see 19 to and all are forum links.

Search google yahoo ect... for sites that relate in some way to what your doing and
Try contacting webmasters directly by e-mail through their contact links
and ask for a link exchange.I did this for one of my sites and the responce
was excellent and I recieved dozens of link exchanges for my site.

My site backlinks change almost on a daily basis. Some days I have 600 others I have 1000. I think its just the "google dance" or something similar.
