Can someone share his experience based on the google analytics accuracy? I am having some doubts in my mind because my blog gets 2000+ credit points from 1000 banners but in google analytics, it registers only 20 impressions with 40-50% bounce rate.

Google analytics is javascript so will only record page views for js enabled useragents.

AND

"Bounce rate" means nothing for banner advertising. Banners should be about IMPRESSIONS not click throughs.


ALSO A high "bounce rate" with advertising on the page is probably a good thing as it means visitors are probably leaving via the adverts.

Well this could be to the fact that the analytics code is not installed properly.

Also a firmly believe that analytics does not show all the visitors to your website.

Example I not quite sure analytics records a visit whenever an image file is accessed on your website through the search engine or from a link to another website.

For me, Google Analytics is accurate more than any other traffic tracking tools. You can also try Awstat as a secondary traffics tracking tool.

in my opinion, google analytic are more accurate then others site tracking.so the accurate result comes from google analytic.

Can you come again? What's the criteria to your banners credit points with your Google Analytics impressions and bounce rate?

I also experience that one, we use to have 3 stat counter and aside from Google analytic all have almost similar figure but in analytic there is a huge discrepancy...

Google Analytics is the number Statistics Counter on the Web and it can not be on top if its not giving an accurate results.

Many webmasters believe on google analytics. In my opinion also google analytics gives us a more accurate analytic report than any other tool.

Yes, I too use only Google analytics and trust it more. Secondly it has many advanced features to track the traffic to your site.

There is always something I have put all my eggs in the Google Analytics basket as I was sure this was top notch software, but at the same time I have found it strange that it underreports so much. It would be great if the Google Analytcis crew could comment on this and maybe come up with a rationale behind it...

Never depend on one Analytic software. You can use two atleast to know and analyse your traffic results of website. You can use Sitemeter tracking..

it keeps all the records about your site. All you have to do is to add a little code to your site then that's it.

i've use around 3 analytics software and i can say that google analytic data is more accurate compare to any of em...the data are well presented

Even I have this confusion for Google analytics results. especially when I compare the Google Webmaster Tools data with Google Analytics, I see lots of difference in the data provided by both the platforms and it really becomes confusing which to take as right.

does'nt matter friend some time updation of database on web got late that is why u think tht we r nt getting best output. be passion and check properly
