Hi all,

I have a fairly popular site that has since been linked to ( someone has 301 redirected their site to mine )

Anyway,
I've noticed that their site "keywords" are now appearing in my google webmaster tools as search querys etc..

Surely it cant be this easy to poison a website?

Am i right in assuming that it wont actually poison my site, However it just means that my site is now being found by their keywords also?

Ie: Same amount of people will find mine through my normal ones.. And now via theirs also.?

Seems silly if its this easy to poison a website..

That's very kind of them

It will only last while the redirect is in place so make the best of the new traffic while it lasts.

No sign of it stopping lol.

Just worried its gonna break any SEO ive done already to get my keywords out there.

My normal words are still in the list but theirs are appearing, So just worried its gonna kill my rank for my actual organic hits.

Doesnt look like it so far.. Just worried that it could be this easy to destroy a websites reputation on the SE from it..

Just ask yourself does Google bombing "hurt" the website that gets bombed.

Google doesn't "know" what keywords or phrases YOU want your pages to be found for, it's a computer calculation, it simply knows what the various factors make it rank for, so how can those factors "hurt" in some way??
