I have come across a lot of blogs that talk about the merits of using an SEO for promotion of the online site. Some of these also mention the use of keyword search tool for locating the right keywords for your site. I wanted to know which is the best tool available for this purpose. I do believe this is a very effective method of creating free and quality organic traffic on the site. I have tried the Word Tracker and it seems to be useful. But is there any better tool? Does anyone have any experience with this thing?

You need to choose the right keywords so you get more traffic, other then Wordtracker there is Google AdWords or if paid one then Market Samurai.

I am using Google Adword's Keyword Tool and it's pretty cool for a free tool.

For keyword research, I recommend Market Samurai. It is not just a keyword research tool but also a competitors' analyzing tool. I don't purchase it; but I got a cracked version of it (got it from BHT Forum).

Pick some solid keywords and work on optimizing those.

just use do follow and sites that are related to your keyword this will do increase your rank..

Seo is very slow process. Pickup the keyword which are highly search and has tough competition and do the quality link building. So that you get good rank in google.

There are number of keyword suggestion tools available in the market right now.
But I would strongly recommend Wordtracker as it comprises data from all major search engines.
Google keyword suggestion tool also serves the purpose but it gives only Google data.

Isn't he asking for some other tools than what he's using? I dont think things such as time consumption, white hat seo, seo campains, and easy way to increase ranking has something to do in this thread?

Anyway, I prefer market samurai but it isn't free. If you don't actually have budget for it, Google adwords is good enough.

Google Adwords too or Market Samurai. Market Samurai is better but is fairly expensive. There's a free version, but it's extremely limited.

Give more concentration on on page optimization and update the content frequently ( if possible daily). All SEs are giving priority for quality and the content

Google Page rank is based on back links. Back links are Links pointing to your website from another website. The more back links you have the higher your PR will be.

1. Join forums, forums are a great way to achieve links to your website. In most forums you are allowed to have a signature and in your signature you can put a link to your website. But another important note to look on is making sure the forum is somewhat related to your website. You will still get credit if it's not, but if it's related to your website than you will be accomplishing two tasks at once.

After you have done this (which should be very easy) you have to contact them in some way to get your link posted on their website. This can be the most difficult task because a lot of webmasters ignore e-mail's from people requesting links because they don't see the importance of it at the time. Some other reasons could be that they are rarely online, or they delete spam mail and sometimes delete their important emails in the process.

Important note: When looking for link partners don't just link with websites that have a page rank of 4 or higher. Link with anyone and everyone you get a chance to. If you link to someone that has a page rank of zero, this will not hurt your page rank. It will only increase it because you are getting a link back to your website. Google doesn't look at your back links page ranks to determine what yours is going to be. It simply looks at how many back links you have.

So if Google one day decided to link to a website that was just created and this website has a page rank of 0 and has a domain that goes something like this: mywebsite.geocities.com it's page rank wouldn't increase even though Google's page rank is 10, it's rank would still be zero because it would only have that one back link.

I would suggest you to get some more backlinks for the website and the backlinks should be for the important keywords for your website which bring better rankings for your website in search engines for those keywords.

Also, forum postings is one of the ways to get more traffic and recognition for your website with backlinks. Hence, I would suggest you to do forum postings also
