There are a lot of methods how you can obtain back links for your website or blog. here are some of the basic methods:
- Directory submission
- blog commenting
- forum signature
- article submission
- social bookmarking
- press release submission

there are still some methods that you can use but if you are still beginning, then what are mentioned above could suffice.

hi, The most important thing in SEO for a web business is backlink and you can get from forums, Article submission, Blog commenting, PR submission, Wicki Editing and by writing fresh and unique content over website and bookmark it as many websites you know.

All the search engine different algorithms, So We can get backlinks according to their algorithms. Social bookmarking and Article submission is best source for getting more backlinks. I hope that It would be help so.

Google backlinks is all about the quality link popularity and content, start doing linking with high pr website and do seo submission in valuable resource like article directories, forums, pr directory, social networking sites.

google refer only quality link that can be high page rank dofollow links. there is different type process like blog commenting, article submission, directory submission.

Just continue building quality backlinks. Quality backlinks are what valued by Google. If your are talking about how to get backlinks that are being showed by Google, there is nothing to worry about cause it's just normal that Google doesn't show all of your backlinks.

try to look at your competitors back links... and try to link on those back links surely you'll get Google back links.

I do this several times in order to get the same backlinks that my competitor have.

I would suggest you to get some more backlinks for the website and the backlinks should be for the important keywords for your website which bring better rankings for your website in search engines for those keywords.

Also, forum postings is one of the ways to get more traffic and recognition for your website with backlinks. Hence, I would suggest you to do forum postings also

you should know google emphasis more about the original contents , so you can write a original blog including the keywords pointing to your sites . of course , the forum posts , blog comments , you can also have atry .

Add blog posting to the above list.

As people have explained , add following two

wiki page creation
guest blogging

Note amount, I do a lot back links, ranking the first page before, but now it is not in 50 pages.

Since the prior posters have specified the ways of building quality links, I do want add my point: quality backlinks requires hard work.

Some really good suggestions here, just started backlinking and yes it takes a lot of time and hard work, that is for sure.
