Ok, so I’m not going to reveal the website, but if I had a website called blablablabuilders.co.uk


My homepage ranks for keywords such as:
London Builders
Builders in London

I then have several sub folders like:


blablablabuilders.co.uk/Electricians
London Electricians
Electricians London

blablablabuilders.co.uk/plumbers
London Plumbers
Plumbers In London

blablablabuilders.co.uk/home-extensions
London Home Extensions
Home Extensions in London

My problem is that with this new Google places update that has taken over for local search, I can’t seem to rank my sub folder pages higher than the Google places for my sub folders.

My homepage has been added into Google places, but I can’t add my other sub folders.


This has caused a huge loss in traffic due to my listings for my sub folders not showing high up in the search.


I’m not actually ranking for builders in London, this was just an example.
Any advice on this would be much appreciated.
