Just be sure that BEFORE you request a URL removal that you have put something in place to prevent Google from re-indexing it again.
The best option is to add a <meta name="robots" content="noindex"> element to the page(s) you plan to remove. Second best option is to simply add DISALLOW directives to your robots.txt file to prevent the pages from being crawled.
Once you've done one of the above then request that the URL(s) be removed using Webmaster Tools.
A much quicker way is to permanently redirect it to somewhere else.
