HI Webmasters this is chlose have a problem in caching of my site..

Actually i have shopping portal which is not cached by google as i have 5 categories in which 1 category regularly cached by google but home page & other categories are not cached from last 20 days.but my home page content is cached of 30 dec but home page caching date is 11 dec....

please suggest me that what is this..one more thing that there is a fluctuation in caching date as yesterday i checked the caching of one category it shows 16 dec but today it shows 12 dec.

please let me know the reason behind this caching fluctuation.....

check broken link of that page which is not Cached by the google if there is broken exist than google takes time.
check outbound link- if there is do follow outbound links than make it no-follow.

Just the way that Google works

If the site doesn't change often, and isnt an authority then google will cache it less frequently. If the site is les than 6 months old, then it will dance all the time, high-low, high-low, cached, non-cahced.. All the time.

Run the free xenu applications to crawl your site and look for 404 erros, check robots.txt and page headers to see if they are allowed

Submit an updated XML Sitemap to your Google Webmasters Account for your Portal

Submitting XML map to webmaster tools pannel is best option for this.

define sitemap.XML file and robot.txt file on webmaster tool,it will be easy to index your webpages.

You can summit your site to Google for analysis and Google indexes your page immediately. If you do not publish your website, Google does not recognize your existence, until a person who likes your site put a link to your site.

i dnt know the reason for fluctuation but ye sit happens to me many times...

in the present scenario google algorithms are different so try to submit your site on high PR and Quality sites which has fast cache, low load time and many more..

as I noticed, google cached blogger blogs fast, I suggest try to link your site in blogger blog I think there is a high possibility your site might increase your site crawling rate.
