before google there were good search engines like infoseek and altavista... I was very good finding information at that time... now with google I'm a master...

When it comes to search engines, Google is clearly the leader without any question and there is only little critics about their good service. However, I am wondering if there is any alternative to Google? Is there any search engine that gives better results to the searches? Did you ever used a different search engine and made a better experience? Well, there is Yahoo and Bing, which are actually not so bad, but I am looking for a real alternative to Google. Do you think that there is a better option?
It all depends on the results you prefer. Now as far as Bing is concerned, if you don't like Google, then you won't like Bing...unless they are no longer showing the same results as G...and Yahoo...aren't their search results powered by Bing now? Anyway, I hear AltaVista is back.
