Any guys can tell me that which is more important backlinks from high PR website or from high PR page?

Some one told me "the Page Rank of the website is important than the Page Rank of the Page. As your back Links comes from the High PR website that means Google gives more authority to your website. Because you are linked to High PR website."

Is he right or not?

First, Foolbar PageRank means nothing.
Second, PageRank is for pages. Not for websites.
Third, Sitewide links (Those links from all the pages of Site A to Site B) Carry less value.

Well, We know that It is hardly not possible to getting links from high PR sites. But If we get then It really assemble a unique effects on our sites rank. Home pages links also fruitful for us.

You better check the PR of the page wherein you are going to link in.

Neither! Both are equally useless.

No he is not right. Because as Sierra Charlie points out SGB PR is useless

for me it depends where your link is placed.

It much matters in me if my link is located at the higher page rank.

But if you are asking which is important without knowing where your link is, ofcourse the homepage cause it is the main page of the site.

Both are important. Most important thing is check the crawling ratio of both page and submit where ratio is high.

Both are really important but it really depends on the kind of situation where you need to choose.

They say don't pay too much attention on PageRank, they didn't say don't pay attention on PageRank. And most of people in this career, no matter newbie or expert, take PageRank as a important element to rank a website.
And to OP's question, home page link will give you more opportunities to get presented. Of course, it depends on the place of your link.

Page Rank is still a useful thing on me. No matter what others say.

High PR homepage. This is because many people come visit, high PR sites, directly to first page, not some alternative link through Google usually,etc

Just like in the book. You give high impression to the book cover first before what's inside.

The only PR I have ever found to help is editorial pickup from a well constructed press release.

I think back link from high PR page is important but it must have unique content and relevant to your website theme and less Outbound links..

PR of that particular page where your link is placed is more beneficial

PR of the page your link will be on, but it is also important to remember that the content of the page is also important.

So if you are connecting to a site which is page rank of 5 lets say for home page ( the page from where you are getting your link from) and at the same time if you compare it to any page where the page rank is less than 5 then its less valuable for sure.

Pages are ranked ....sites are not...
