we recently started with our link building strategy and it really gains results, but different on google.com and google.uk

Unfortunately we are better ranked on google.com and our targeted market is UK. What causes this and how can we influence?

A: Your IP is from Serbia so your Google UK searches will NOT be filtered towards UK results.

B: Where your links are from is of little or no importance to Google.

C: Links from .co.uk OR UK targeted pages are local ADVERTISING

D: You can only optimise what you control.

E: Your goal in link building should be qualified traffic not the random chance of "rankings"

F: If you target YOUR PAGES towards UK users, Google will do exactly the same for searches by UK users!

F: What do you mean by page targeting? Content-wise?

Certainly by the content being UK centred, especially with using English spellings and grammar (that's real English rather than the American version of English )

UK adresses used on the pages, a .uk TLD or .co.uk ccTLD, UK hosting (on a UK IP) can help with targeting a .com, though the efficacy of that has diminished somewhat in recent years.

Same with links from UK TLDs, it was a valid tactic some years ago but has become less effective as do all methods that become exploited.

Both are different local search engine like .com and co.uk. So that They shows different results. Nice job "Chrishirst". But It is quite difficult to follow although methods. Have you tried?

There are many factors. If your hosting server located in other country then Google uk doesn't display your website on early pages. Domain name is also the big factor. .uk is more important then .com for Google. And so many factor cause this. If you want to target uk then you have to rebuild your strategy according to that.

Wrong, where your hosting is actually located is not a factor and NEVER has been.
The country that the SERVER IP is issued to is a small factor

Nope, that is NOT the domain name. It is the TLD (Top Level Domain, and it is the ccTLD country code Top Level Domain that counts most

If you want to target UK users build your pages for UK users!!!

Build more free links from UK websites to rank better and set in the Google Webmaster tools >> Site Configuration >> Settings >> Geographic Target >> UK.

Try to purchase banner advertisements over niche related website those who have .co.uk domain name for required traffic and GEO base ranking.
