Is this true?

A bigger website means more internal links, the question is:

is this good for SERP on Google et al?

More Pages = ? = Profit

Nope!

The answer is NO.

Why would Google / Yahoo / Bing / whoever give extra credit to someone who can create lots of webpages...

YES! You will get extra credit if EVERY SINGLE PAGE IS ACTUALLY USEFUL .

However, Just creating pages with no useful content = NOTHING!

I could have a script that built me a fully meshed website with 9999999 pages.
It would probably not even be indexed due to its uselessness.
