I see no problem as such on your site. But check on several things such as advertising placement, content quality, etc which are real turn offs now with the Panda Update. If possible, leave a question at Google Forums too. People over there can give you a better idea about the problem with the site.

If you are de-indexed and you are pretty certain about it, the best thing to do is check your site for any problems. Read about the various Google algo updates such as the Panda Update, Mayday update and such like. (There are many that I can't remember names of) All these updates are focused on different aspects of the quality of Google index. Once you have an idea, you can better optimize your site.
Also, I don't think it is much use keep submitting your website to Google blindly.

It doesn't matter.
There is nothing "wrong"
It happens all the time!
STOP doing doing pointless things such as "checking how many pages indexed" and it will never bother you again!

Traffic down generally?

Yes my traffic is down naturally, and Se referals, it could be down to my bandwidth limitations but its still running fast during normal hours, in fact my site was crawled last night and there are no bandwidth restrictions then.
So its very odd indeed it would have been de-indexed, most of my keywords dropped like a stone, for example free chat rooms is on page 7 from page 1.
Very odd indeed

Yeh chances are your homepage was affected by Google Farmer Update
http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2011/...-sites-in.html
The content of your homepage is very similar to that of Chatroulette website. Filter the duplicates and check the variants
http://copyscape.com/?q=http%3A%2F%2Fwocchat.com
like this:
1. Chatroulette website -- yeh that other site showing similar contents
2. your wocchat.com and wocchat.com/index.html show the Same Content - but under 2 different URLs right?
Make sure to submit a sitemap
Also, make sure to have links pointing to your site.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Wocchat.com should not be confused with chatroulette.com, Wocchat.com is a community site with its own 3rd party developed chat roulette software, we are not affiliated to them or wanting to mislead users into using our site instead of chatroulette.com.
--You may want to remove this from the homepage as Google might/will think either your site is a duplicate and offers low quality content. Just put a link to where people can view the disclaimer info.
Finally, since your server is having some downtime you need to allow Google processing time for re-indexing.

There's nothing "odd" about it all, you are doing the same as everybody else and the only you promote is the "home" page, the only page you "get keywords for" is the "home" page, the only page you get links to is ....
... Yep that's correct! The "home" page.
So why are you surprised that the "home" page then fares the worst when updates or tweaks affect link "value"? Or when some links drop off the Google link map (or link graph as they prefer to call it), which creates a situation where the page's position in the grand scheme of things requires re-evaluation?

Hello
No quite true Chris i dont just target my homepage with links, i build links all over my site, some of my deep links to my site have dropped too, some have held.
While i agree you shouldnt just rely on links to your homepage for your ranking, i have enough experiance now to say this is a big drop in 24 hours for my site which usually points towards some kind of issue somewhere, I am merely trying to narrow it down, has my site been compromised ? have i made a mistake somewhere, has a recent update affected my site? is it my server issues that have caused this ? is my site indeed where it should be ? not sure i am just trying to narrow things down.
I have never had a homepage de-indexed in such a way, so it makes sense to ask around to see if anyone else has experianced the same. In fact since my homepage isnt even indexed im suprised it shows on page 7 to be honest lol.
My task is to get it re-indexed and then I can evaluate my position then, my rankings might return then who knows they might not, then again i will have to review the situation

Nope, "a big drop in 24 hours" means you are looking at different datacentres.

You should NOT rely on rankings FULL STOP..

This one is very true, you can't just rely on Search Engine ranks any more, they are unreliable compare with many other Social Midea websites such as FB and twitter, try to find other ways to get more-targeted traffic.
As to the reason de-indexed your website, I also goes to Google Panda updating.
