What is best way to use of keyworded domain?

If I will park keyworded domain for example "getalltoys.com" to my main domain for example "mytoys.com" will it help for SEO for "get all toys" keyword to push main website "mytoys.com" higher in rankings?

or it's better to keep it separate, until google will index it, and then parked it?

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Yep I think you should learn about SEO properly instead of trying to to use stupid tricks that don't actually work.

for example if you will put in google search "laptop adapter" .. on second page you will find: littlelaptopshop.com
and domain laptopadapter.com is parked to littlelaptopshop.com
a year ago that search showed that web site on 1st page..

You are completely and utterly way, way off the mark.

It is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AT ALL TO DO WITH PARKED HOSTNAMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@Ice....

Your research may indicate that Google is assuming a new tack regarding parked domains......
So that makes a bad idea even less desirable.....)))

Because "keyword domains" are NOT important as you think.

I agree with guys about to make nice web site..
But I already have one.. and the way I see it on google (yahoo, msn) keyword domain have some good weight in term of search placement.
like i have one of domain pretty well optimized.. and with some SEO done (backlinks, articles, and bla bla... ) is on page 3 right now (pretty tough competition), and I have another domain name (keyword domain name), which has no SEO done at all.. and also placed on page 3. and it's not only one example.. have to many..

You probably will tell.. when wtf if I'm so "smart" in SEo (and really, I'm not too advanced in SEo) so I'm asking about it here..

My concern was if it's better to create some kind of network between 2 web sites. like an external blog for main website which may help better for top listings.. or just to use old fashion way of domain parking...

Anyway.. I appreciated with advises, and I do respect your comments.

Hi Chris

I have a number of domains parked on top of other domains and expect absolutely nothing from Google. They're parked there for later development or to stop others buying them, nothing more.

I do however have other domains parked and redirected to content specific pages that are optimised and these do come up in organic results, sometimes above the competition which is my intention.

However, if I wanted to target a set of keywords exclusively then I would un park the domain and develop a whole wbsite around it, it's what I do, for me, and for clients with deep enough pockets

Ice

In my humble opinion there's 2 basic ways of achieving what you want:
  1. The quick and ditrty way
  2. The correct way

I use the quick and dirty for my own websites. Why...? Because if Google doesn't index the site, sanboxes it (if such a thing exists) or simply ignores it I don't care. It works however for certain projects.

The correct way is what I would always recommend to a client...

Develop "Site 1" for "ABC" content and keywords and content and "Site 2" for "XYZ" keywords and content. Yeah, it costs more, it takes longer to maintain but if a customer is serious about running an online business they need to dig deep.

I've applied this before and it's worked well.

I'm actually applying it now to 5 sites for a project and holding my breath while Google indexes and ranks the sites.

Doorway domains - Sometimes it works, most times it doesn't.

And when it finally fails .... It fails dramatically - and the empire you have built comes crashing down - Just ask Traffic Power about that.

Parking a domain won't give you any rankings on Search Engine, it's rare that someone would visit.
