would some one please answer this because if this is true i need to host my own blog

i didnt hear that about blogger. i was under the impression spammers like blogger though due to the fact it was owned by google, and because of that would never be banned from search engine results. with that being said i suppose it is possible that it doesn't pass on its PR. either way can i suggest not using blogger. im just not really a big fan of most sites i see on there, and i know there are plenty of other blog programs. i use moveable type and like it myself. the ones that work right out the box usually are the least versatile.
thank you for getting back to me i have choosen to host my own blog since this frecked me out now the problem is contacting all the people to tell them my blog moved
you could put a 301 redirect at your old blog so that they just automatically get forwarded to the new blog. or at least just put a most recent post that tells folks your new address.
nofollow is a meta tag within the head of a document to let the robots know not to follow any outbound links on a page. Usually the tag goes "noindex, nofollow"
I believe that the Nofollow code they were applying only applies to comments, the standard links should still pass PR. They were doing this to pervent people from posting thosands of comment saying 'Buy my viagra' on bloggs with good PR. Standard generic link they consider benificial to the the ranking process, they were singing their praises just a bit back.
