Hi guys!

I've made a new site recently. I tried to optimize an internal page with a particular key. Like always I choosed a secondary keyphrase with high efficency index ("number of daily searches"/"number of competitor") about 154 (very good). I optimized everything: key in the title with high prominence, key in the body in bold text in the highest part in the right number (too much is spam) and same key in the bottom of the page. Optimized also the Alt tag and everything like I've always done. The page got the spider and now.....I gonna look on google.......and the page of mine with the keyword is not inside the top1000! Ok... I've to wait more...I wait while I try to push up the key (BL, signatures etc etc) and now after 3 weeks: nothing! The page is indexed (the tiltle is almost the key!)
I don't understand. Normally It doesn't need much time...and I've got a bit of experience (it's my job).
Do you have some suggestions about it?
I've to wait more?

How about the use of <h1> tag for your keywords? And have external links to your site? Did you register with the Open Directory www.dmoz.org or www.dmoz.com?

Sorry, not that I am very experienced about this matter - but I thought have read these from somewhere...

Google has seemed slower than ever recently in getting sites up in the rankings. Many of my newer websites that I've designed have yet to appear on Google, and others are sandboxes and only searchable with the exact site name in quotes.

I'd say to just give it time--you're talking about three weeks being a lot, but some of my clients have had to wait a few months before they got up there. From everything you've said, I can tell you know how to optimize a site, so it's probably just a matter of time before you get listed.

yes the site has the key in H1 and H3, get a lot of links and it's really optimized (at least in the way that I've always optimized the pages of mine!)......Probably i need really to wait more (but google is loosing points...always worst )

what about your title tag? and three weeks for a new site is nothing. wait longer.
