I recently moved from a shared hosting to dedicated hosting. Will this make google read my site any differently? Just wondering more out of curiosity.

I am no webhosting guru, but I believe this will make absolutly no difference in how google see's your website. It might only see your server in a different location, with more space and bandwith.

No, I don't see why this would make any difference to how Google sees your site.

if there is a ip change from what i have seen in changeing over about 6 decently well ranked sites, there will be a negative impact. we had a loss of several pr as well as actual drop in placement.

There is no difference between share and dedicated host to google's point,except for an ip change.

the way i look at it is that in common sense if a spider would spider a wall would it matter if it was brick or cement please pardon my spelling Jim
