Just wanted to double-check if my steps to Search Engine Listing looks OK to you or not.

1) I purchase a domain name with the required keyword
2) Designed the website, optimized for search engines using GRSeo. (http://www.grsoftware.net/search_eng...are/grseo.html)
3) Make my website dynamic by adding PHP code to have random text and RSS feed for news updates
4) External links from my other related sites with higher PR.
5) Submit to search engines after one of my high PR site being spidered by Google.

So, am I correct so far? Or am I missing anything here?

What's your steps?

1. Google prefers a static page to a dynamic one imo

2. Dont worry about having the keyword in the address, yes it can make SEO easier in some cases but with quality content you can still get the site ranking high that doesnt contain the keyword in its domain name. - Frankly i prefer this, branding is very important imo. Also, dont forget you can have pages designated to your key word topic anyway ie abc.com/widget.html or even sub-domains widget.abc.com.

3. Remember, Quality content attracts links !

4. Produce a quality site and submit it for review in DMOZ and Yahoo directory, this will start your backlinks off if you are worried about this.

5. Dont bother submitting your site to search engines, pointless, if you have links to it, they will ALL find you anyway. Concentrate your efferts on producing a quality rich content site and add to it - if you do this the spiders will keep visiting you

6. Good luck

Hi Rich,

When I mean 'dynamic' page I don't really mean page with "page.php?something=that".

I got an tip from Planet Ocean where I can load random text to a page via SSI so that when ever I load the page, it gets different text on my page, making it look different everytime Google spiders the site. Adding a date via SSI is also a good way.

And, I have RSS feed via PHP (which can be done via HTML) which also works pretty well. I have over 20+ sites so it's crazy to make updates on everyone. That's why I have such arrangements.

That's OK right? You see, in the end, Google will only see a final HTML page.

Making a quality site that humans want to see is about the only true way for a successful website

I have done this in www.trafficforless.com

I have a link from my main site to www.trafficforless.com/updates.php

It will automatically load a new articles everyday. They are quality articles fed from another site.

Should be OK right?
