hello:

i have a site that i am working on i am new at this and have some buddys helping on some stuff i had someone write this and i wanted to see if this is true before i make changes he wrote.. 1- Your keyword list it is duplicated ( not good )
2- Keywords list is to long, there is not maximum, but a good to do it is having diferrent and at least 5 in every page
3- The title page it is the same in every page.
4- We need to exchange, pay or even get free links with some others related to you content page.
5- The content got to be the more closer to the top as possible.
6- Include all the scripts into a single file

My site is www.queposfishing.com

Also i spent a lot of time getting links but they dont seem to help ranking. Now i learned that i should have had them link back with a keyword i dont know what that means

1/ correct
2/ correct the KW list should match the page content
3/ correct. Should be unique to each page. In SEO the title is most important and should include the target phrase(s) (2 -3 at max) for the page.
4/ Getting links is good but be careful who and what you link back to.
5/ myth! makes no difference at all.
6/ good practice. It makes download quicker for visitors on dial-up

If you can get links using a keyphrase for anchor text all well and good. And if you can get links to deeper content rather than the home page even better.

I've moved this into the google forum for now, and have removed the duplicate post in the coding forums. If the help you need doesn't relate to google itself, you might be better off here:
http://www.seo-talk.com/
(I don't think anyone will mind if I plug that here since they've been doing it themselves... )
