I have two sites which are writen in almost the same style, and with the same meta tabs one is Nauticality.uk.com which is quite high in the google search engine (38 th). The other is clipperlight.com which has far more links and I have paid to be included in the Yahoo directory and have spent more money on trying to optermise it and it is nowhere, the highest its been is about 650th. the key word I use to guage there performamnce is nautical gifts.

Clipperlight is hosted by AC Domains in the USA and Nauticality is hosted by 123 in Britain

Any ideas why the difference in placement please would be greatfully received.

There are lots of factors involved The most inportant of all being the competition involved with the keywords and how much is the competition.

That has not answered my question, ie two sites almost identicaL ONE IS 30 ish the other 650 th. makes no sense, can any one help please
