Well, the toolbar PR isn't dead, so I guess this thread is.

BTW, I tried alexabooster yesterday and I <b>doubt a lot</b> that it can really boost Alexa rankings. It is used by lazy loosers who don't want to work on SEOing and link exchange but want to get up fast. AB's analog is TrafficSwarm where the circle of unsuccessful webmasters show their sites to each other. It may only help in increasing values of traffic counters, but who needs it? Personally my sites are targeted to AdSense and a little to affiliate sales, so I need VISITORS, not HITS. Also if Alexa counts unique visitors than it will be pretty unuseful to display a site million times to the same person (meaning the same cookie). Sure it is possible to raise from 5M to 4.5M where every ten extra visitors increase your rank by 100K, but not more. So I still will consider Alexa rankings rather reliable factor for estimating site's value.
