Hi there -

What's the different between "true" DNS forwarding and "frame-based" redirection as far as Google is concerned, and does Google care if multiple domains are parked & redirected to various sections of one central site?

Details are horribly boring - typical case of purchasing keywrod specific URLS:

Client plans to start a site dedicated to collecting links to scuba-diving shops in the 100 largest cities in the USA.

The links database will be saved at one central site (example: divingUSA.com) and client has bought about 100 other city-specific domains which client plans to "redirect" to particular categories in DivingUSA.com.

Example: DivingHouston.com will redirect to the Houston category in DivingUSA.com, DivingMiami.com will redirect to the Miami category in DivingUSA.com, etc.

Client also says he'll "mask" (or is the correct word "cloak"?) the destination URL so the user coming in from, say, DiveLosAngeles.com continues to think she's using the same website and isn't aware that shes actually using a directory/category on DivingUSA.com.

Any suggestions to avoid potential blackballing by Google? I'd be greaty obliged if anyone could advise re: other potential problems with this scheme.

Thanks Much
