I recently just started two website on my server

http://www.myworldcup-2006.com

Currently I have one backlink from my other website mainly to allow bots to come in. Now the two sites do have bots visit from google, yahoo and msn.. but after one month for site 1, 1 week for site 2, I only receive traffic from MSN search and none from yahoo and google.. So usually how long does it take to have traffic from google?

Google, somewhere between 2 and 12 months for new sites. Yahoo a month if you're fortunate but more likely 2 to 3 months

More backlinks should help with Yahoo, With Google your are stuck with the aging delay.

It could take a while (2 to 3 months) to start receiving traffic from Google. In the meantime, just keep building your inbound links and things will work themselves out.

BTW, if you want to start receive quality traffic from Google and Yahoo right away, consider spending a little money on their pay-per-click programs (Adwords and Overture). This is what I do for my new sites while waiting for Google and Yahoo to send me some free traffic.

At present, only your homepages are listed (in Google). That suggests to me that they haven't crawled deep into your sites yet.

My guess is that the spiders won't come back for a while unless you get some more backlinks. Submit to a few free directories, and you should get crawled again more quickly.

Just be patient.. Things will turn around after several months. Just keep on finding relevant back link
