Here in Australia, the government have asked that Google remove satellite images our nuclear plants to avoid terrorists looking at them.

Has this happened anywhere else?

that's what I really though when I first heard about that Google feature. I think that poses a big threat to everyone.

I completely agree ... although ... I noticed that they keep some areas blurred. Like the Capital ... it's blurred.

I don't think blurring will really help. anybody can still figure out the location and easily bomb the place. what does the US govt have to say about this one? I think they should be more concerned becuase they are the primary target.

Oh I completely agree. I think that instead of blurring the image that they should just replace it with images ... like cheese .... or the Official Seal.

Hang on a sec. Just looked up sydney, australia and it's clearer than ever. Am I missing out on something here?
