Sorry if this is in the wrong place, I just wanted some quick comfirmation.

I have been asked about placing google freesearch on someone website and to advise what impact it would have. Now I'm not actually sure what google freesearch is I am persuming it is where you add a google search box on your website, with the option to search entire web or just your website.

Am I correct or has google brough out something new?

If so does anyone know of any impact this would have on the optimisation?

The only thing I can think of is the Adsense search

You add a search box to your site and when someone does a serach it displays AdSense results and normal results. You earn from any adsense clicks from the results page.
