Hello Guys,

Hey I have had my site not a domain name (*.com, .net etc), but it is a free hosted site (like .geocities.com)!

Ok, my question now, why hasn't my site ranked no #1 or in the first page or sth! Now I know that it isn't cause of the domain name cause I see loads of other site (free hosted) and they make it to the top!

I tryed making my meta-tags better, but got to know that Google (while ranking sites) doesn't look for tags, but what do they look for? What should I do to improve my ranking?

Look, NuWeb.co.uk is my domain. In my description it says NuWeb, in my keywords it says NuWeb. In my text it says NuWeb, on my alt images it says NuWeb.
BUT!.. when you got to:
http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=NuWeb&meta=
my website is seccond, not first.

Also you have to remember, its if google likes you or not, you haev to get many good refferers, get a high pr.

ALSO DOMAIN COUNTS!... if your domain says free-games in it, then if someone types in free games.. its more likely you will be near the top, as it says free-games in the domain.

Also free hosted sites commonly dont get as good listing as proper websites, no idea why though.
