Hi,

I have a finance directory catering to UK. http://www.seek.uk.com

The number of pages in my website range anywhere between 4000 - 4500 pages.

But when I recently checked, it showed me 17,500 pages in Google.com, wheareas in Google .uk, it shows 869 pages.

There are few queries which I have:

How is that the number of pages have shooted up to 17,500 pages, is it because my site mostly has affiliates in it. Or some thing else?

Why is there such a big difference in my Google.Uk results & .com results?

Which of them is really showing the real picture.

Perhaps google want to game with yahoo or msn to see who engine have got more pages ... :-o

Well, a deep Google crawl indexing links with query strings may be why there are more pages indexed then your site has (static pages).
