I checked my link popularity on marketleap today and found that Google had scored some of my links. 23 links showing on Google's link count. About time. I know they already had to indexed. My site is still sandbox for a month or so.

I noticed another BL update too.

I noticed additons to my links a few days ago as well. Not quite 3 months but close. Of course we still have no idea how many links Google really knows about since what they show is just a sample.

It's funny sometimes when you look at all the sites that show up in marketleap that have hundreds or thousands of links showing for yahoo and msn and 5 showing for Google.

Google links count is unreliable as they only ever show a fraction of how many lnks they actually find, even if they are PR4 or more. Site age I think also comes into it, I've had a site for just over a year with over 200,000 pages, it's been indexed well before but now, after all this time, daily uniques are suddenly climbing fast after being at 2000/day for a year. It's nice to have waited and see a glimmer of hope

at around a year old it is probably just coming out of the aging delay.

I think that Google changes that link count that shows on the link: tool because people abused it to much. I know I did.

I think it's more that they don't want all of us seo people attempting to reverse engineer things. Google keeps it's algorithm highly guarded and doesn't let much if any information out in regards to it.
