Hello, I have a relatively new site and have been waiting for Google to index all of my pages. So far they have only only indexed my home page. Today I went to check and see if there were any more pages indexed, and now it seems my home page is gone. "No matches found" What would cause that to happen? I don't have anything shady going on, just some graphics tutorials.

Yep. Patience and more patience. It takes some time to get your site indexed at any time, but like Chris mentioned Google is doing an update now and you'll have to wait for things to settle down.

Your site may be indexed in one datacenter and not another so you may see reults bouncing around depending on which datacenter you get when you go to Google.

Cool. I will just wait. I was just worried because it was there and then it was gone. I thought I did something "illegal"

When you say 'it takes time', how long are we talking about?

Some people are putting forward the theory that google has rolled back its index, so that old results are being displayed. I don't know how true this is, but some of the sites I've been involved in have suffered a loss in pages indexed.

If this is true, who knows how long it will take to sort out?

Do rollbacks happen often?

Being a relative newb to seo, this is the first one I've known about (if that's what's happened).

My site was indexed http://www.rdsexecutivecars.ridleydesign.co.uk within a couple of days. but in the last two months it has droppped out of the listing completley.

Does anybody know if this could relate back to the web address having xxx.xxx.co.uk format. if so I will get a proper address.

Nope, It's perfectly normal for pages seeming to "bounce" in and out for a few weeks

your site can be indexed quickly if you want. write some articles and submit these articles in article directories and give a link back to your site through that article.

submit your articles in many directories. google will index your site through the article.

If u are not using black hat techniques then be patient and it will be listed within a few days and with good ranking if u have optimised properly.
