can someone tell me whats going on?

Oren at the moment I see 6 pages of your site that have been indexed. Did you make any changes recently in the page names or the folder structure on your site. Anyting that would give a different path to your pages?

If you did then it will just take Google a little time to reindex your site, though you could do some 301 redirects to aid in the process.

If you haven't changed anything then it is weird that the pages aren't there any more. Google has been doing a lot of updates recently and results have varied a lot lately for many things. If your site has gotten caught up in these updates give it a day or two and see if the pages are back in the index.

I'm not seeing your site indexed much in any of the major search engines. (0 pages at Yahoo and 3 and MSN) Did you make any major changes to the pages or the domain?

hi, this is the case with many websites. our website had 45K plus pages indexed and its now just 310 pages.

can some one tell us what could be the reason. we also have forum and due to some reason even all of our forum pages also got dropped.

had 2 sites in the same predicament, One brand new and one was a client moving domain names

Scottie is a rather well respected member of the seo community. I've come across her articles and forum posts all the time and she has a lot of good advice.

One of the hardest parts to accept with search engines, particularly Google is that the most important thing is to have patience. Very hard I know, but it just takes time for your seo efforts to show results.

Maybe google is thinking that your web site is illegal for them. If you try to cheat their robot and they find it, your ranking will dramatically drop. Maybe they just made an error? Or maybe your web site needs a good SEO job. Ranking in google is very chaotic - same thing for any search engine.

we are now 190 with www and 210 without www. Few days back we were 300+. Few weeks back 45K plus.

lets put SEO aside for now.
I'm talking about simple indexing. if you have 75 pages in your website and google indexed 75 pages, how they are dropping to 2?

happens all the time, nothing to be concerned about

different DCs answering the search query usually
