I found it quite interesting. A search image? It's definately a great concept. I really have no idea how a searcher would use this, Effectively, but spambots and people with redhead fetishes will enjoy it.

I think they ahve taken the wrong route with it.
to compete with google, in any field, you have to compete with them on the search.

Quaero should have been a normal search engine, with this amazing new "image recognition" as a feature of thier image search.

But i can't see people leaving google just to do an image seach, and even if they do, they will return to google when their image search is done.

I read that Europe wants to do it because they feel americans are contaminating us with their "culture" .
