Hey, I'm a newbie and I recently fired my supposed search engine person. I took over the job my self and traffic is now up about 250%

For the last 2 months googlebot has been all over my site every day but on 2003-09-15 it stopped visiting and hasn't been seen since.

Is this normal?

Has googlebot stopped visiting any of your sites?

Googlebot has been on my site every day this month, so no change. I wouldn't worry too much about it, though, Google is doing a lot of funny things at the moment, including relying less on the Googlebot and more on the Freshbot.

Has freshbot been visiting?

I havn't seen freshbot. Do I need to do something to get it to come by?

I just saw a FreshDownload/4.40 appear today. Is that the same as Freshbot?
