I am not listed in Google. I have submitted my site directly to Google.

I also have submitted my site to DMOZ, but for some reasons, an editor told me that my category as no editor, so submission are backed up. It's been 7 months and no new links have been added to my category.

Anyhow, http://www.mishobonsai.com has a PR2 right now, I am listed in most search engines, but not with google, well not it in the first thousand result.

Am I doing something wrong ?

Its showing me your url is indexed. Though if you google site:yoururl.com/cart, its showing me that is not indexed.

You redirect to domain/cart/ using a meta refresh.

I can relate to what you are saying. I want to move up the list when someone searches

Im having hte same problem.
I can put in thongs101 and get over 13000 links but if i use any keywords im not even listed.

it's a soft porn site. When you have a hundred times that number of links and the domain has been around 3 or 4 years expect something better!

read up on the aging delay, some links in this thread

change it to a 301 redirect

Thank you. I have four questions :

1- Is the redirect in cpanel the same as a 301 redirect ?

2- If I were doing it in php, would that be in the index.php file of / pointoing to /cart ?

3- If redirected, would this still work : http://www.domain.com/image.jpg , or it would automaticly result in http://www.domain.com/cart/image.jpg

4- What is best, a 301 redirect or having website in / ?

I think if you select the permanent option when setting up the redirect in cpanel it will be a 301. Be careful though since the default is a temporary redirect.

Don't Hold your breath on DMOZ - the editors are constantly swamped with requests and it takes anywhere from 6month to a year before you get indexed there. You are better off submitting you site to less crowded sites, for example Onemission.com.

Thats strange, I didnt know google was so picky.
