Hi,

i want to add google search to my site.

I have had the site name registered with google for a month or so now. When i put it into the site search engine generator to get the code etc it says that

There are no pages in our index for "www.digitalimaging-uk.co.uk"

this domain was purchased from 1&1 and directed both by web forwarding and by changing the DNS pointers in the 1&1 control panel to point the domain to my home webserver where the site is hosted.

I previously had submitted just the ip and was getting some search info but since changing to the domain i get nothing.

Can anyone help me ? What am i doing/not doing wrong ?

how do you mean "registered with Google" ?

What do you expect ????? the domain was registered 15 days ago, it probably hasn't been crawled yet, never mind indexed!!

Have you any links pointing to the site other than your signature? get some and have patience, lots of patience! about 12 months worth of patience would be ideal.

looking at the visitor log, google bots are crawling a fair bit

you just need the patience then.
