google - because it is comprehensive,
msn - because it lists few of my sites in good positions

My favorite search engines would be yahoo and msn....

yahoo has listed rankland #1 in every local and regional category..

Not 1st page #1

Local and regional directory
local and regional web directory
local and regional internet directory
Free local and regional web directory
Free local and regional directory

Msn gives me a link on everything

I use all three Google, Yahoo as well as MSN, but my favorite one has to be Google.

I like Google, and use it the most. Second would be Yahoo.

Whilst Google produces relevant results, they're not always up to date, and IMO they favour larger sites/organisations too much.

If I can't find what I want on Google, I'll try something like Yahoo or <gasp> MSN to get lesser sites.

Well well well, looking like so many people are going for Google. As for me I like Google and also MSN and rarely go for Yahoo. For my sites MSN gives me really good visitors and gives them high rank.

I always go for google. It gives good searches for even some of the most stupid things i have to do for asignments. I havent used msn for years and yahoo never!

Have you ever tried Vivisimo Their document clustering and meta-search software automatically categorizes search results on-the-fly into hierarchical clusters. Can be very usefull if you need keywords idea, etc..
