I doubt abt the Google Page rank, can anybody tell me is google page rank is changed according to traffic (Like, Alexa) or not.... Currently my page rank is 5, can next time it is increase or decrease time to time or not...

PageRank is calculated on the basis of the quantity and PageRank quality of your incoming links. PageRank can decrease if you lose some important links that are no longer linking to your site or if some of your linking partners also experience a drop in their own PR.

so say you get like 2 or 3 PR 5 sites to link to you, does this help you at all?

Yep. Any web page that links to you is increasing your PR some. There's a lot that goes into the calculation, but the higher the PR of the page linking to you the better. Not necessarily true though. It will also depend on how many other pages that page also links to as well.

One thing to keep in mind though is that PR isn't the same as rankining. You can have a decent PR and still not show up in search results. PR is just one part of the equation and one that seems to be losing weight recently.

Google says they devalue or stop PR from being passed from high ranking sites that sell paid text links. If you buy a text link ad on a PR8 website for instance that is webmaster related and has ads from casino's, webmasters, RX, ticket agencies, and 10 other different types of websites, chances are google will not allow your website to receive any PR benefit for around 1 year (speculation) They figure if you stick around for 1 year or more without seeing any PR benefit, then the ad must be making you money and not for the purpose of getting PR. (make sense)

The best ads are relevant to your site and are on a page that has content, meta tags, or a header relevant to your website. The page will rank for your keyword in the search engines and bring you traffic. That type of advertisement is not against googles terms of service (TOS).

hi,

i dont think so. lots of sites are there having very high page rank and if you see their traffic you will be scared to see their poor traffic. but ther is a little impact of traffic is there on pr which is absolutely neglegible

No, Google PR doesn't change on traffic but on the quantity and quality of good higher PR sites.
