I think the 1st point of the last poster is very valid. In fact I remember reading about free sites hurting ranking from the late Internet marketing guru corey rudi from his i marketing course about 5 years ago. Google wants quality sites... and having a free URL/site does not portray the site as being in for the long haul and that's what google is looking for.
Same kind of idea is when everyone started talking about google having access to domain name information because it became a register, I for one registed my domain for 15 years in the hope that google might see it as more 'professional' and less spammy. Free URLs have a high risk of being spam and google is most strictest with this so this could be why your appear on the others but not Google.
I also think it might be hard to get backlinks too as others webbys might not want to link to you. there are so many reasons why free urls are a bad idea, the seo related I have mentioned above.
