I'm starving for quality backlinks and...

One of the niche directories where my site is listed, has my site listed on three of it's pages all of which are PR6, however, I don't get a backlink because it's part of their system to count outgoing traffic and they use a cgi as a link.

Here's what I mean:

I do enjoy the traffic from them, but I'm really missing out with no backlinks.

Is there any way that they can integrate a real link to my site while maintaining their system?

If so, I'd love to know of it and explain it to them.

There is a way they can do it. Have them create a single pixle frame page. In the top frame have the link set to go direct to your site, in the bottom fram have the link set to thier tracking script. The only way this will show in backilinks and pass PR is if the page is indexed into Google. That may take some time.

yeah this is a problem for a lot of peopl who are listed on sessoin based link directories

its a tough one as the directory needs to track links - but because of google etc, no backlink will register for those actually listed
