I'm new to this and I'm looking for help on optimising my website to get it higher up in the search engines. Has anyone got any tips? My site is http://www.doubleglazingontheweb.co.uk so i was thinking of trying to link it to sites on homes, gardening to find people interested in getting replacement windows, doors or a conservatory that they can order online. Does anyone know a low cost way to do this? Are directories any good?
Hi Sam. There's certainly lots you can do to optimize your web pages and site in general. It's a bit much to try to cover in one post or thread though.
I did write a seven part SEO Basics Tutorial which should give you a good idea of how to get started and feel free to post back here with specific questions you have.
Hope the tutorial helps.
