It used to be, but apparently some banned sites are still showing PR and even being presented on occasion in search results. I take it you're still having issues with your site. Did you ever try to contact Google to see what the problem might be. You have a good and useful site and it's a shame if it's not in the index.

I have emailed google about the issue.
But holy google has not replied to me yet.

It is more confusing and hurting to me because i have tried to get help on various well known forums but no body has been able to point out any problem on my site.

It shows how less we know about Holy Google.

Mong I looked over your site a few times and never could figure out what the issue might be. Most of the suggestions I had were really just grasping for something.

You have a good site too that a lot of people in the community use and appreciate. I'm beginning to wonder if it isn't something a competitor did that we're all unaware about.

if you don't hear anything back from Google you might try checking out Matt Cutt's blog and the next time he posts on something related to what's going on with your site you can try adding a comment and see if it draws his attention. Might be another way to find out what the issue can be.

If I ever think of another possibility I'll be sure to let you know.

skodie how long has your site been online? Can you post a link to it? I'll be happy to take a look and see if I can notice anything and I'm sure others here will be glad to do the same.

I've noticed that the latest PR update seems to be giving some sites that previously had no PR more PR than would seem like they would deserve. A site I built for a client jumped from 0 to 4 though I know he's done absolutely no marketing for the site. The site has all of two backlinks, one being from me yet at the moment his pages have the same PR as my pages. I really don't expect that to last though.

I think the update will show some odd things for a couple of weeks until it all settles down so I wouldn't try to read too much into things at the moment since I believe we're seeing some temporary results now.
