I have recently had to make changes to the layout of my site which is basically comprised of many .php pages. After having to make that change once, I decided that I am going to a dynamic site with one template page.

Could someone look at the following content and please let me know if I am in danger of getting banned from the search engines (obviously mainly google)?

Here is the code for my page:

HTML Code:
		<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">

		   <META NAME="keywords" CONTENT="Second mortgage, second mortgage loan, home loan, refinance second mortgage, home equity, home loan">
		   <META name="robots" content="index,follow">
		   <META NAME="author" CONTENT="Moneytime.ca Inc.">

				<h1>Second Mortgage . . .</h1><font class="redlink"><b>Commonly referred to as:</b></font>&nbsp;Second mortgage, secured loan, second mortgage loan, second home loan<br><br> <p>Second mortgages can provide for extra cash when you need it and a regular loan is not an option.</p>

<p>Everyday, banks and other lending institutions are reducing the amount of money they are lending unsecured. &nbsp;This means that when you need to get cash for something, more and more we are hearing our banks saying "NO".</p>

<p>Instead these banks and loan officers are trying to get clients to refinance their mortgage from very low interest rates into higher interest paying mortgages; this allows the bank/lender to increase profits through charging penalties and of course, higher interest.</p>

<p>Before refinancing your first mortgage, you should consider arranging a second mortgage on your home. &nbspThis can be much more advantageous than a total refinance.</p>

<p><b>Obtaining a second home loan or second mortgage can get you access to the cash you need without sacrificing your low rate.</b></p>

<p>Although second mortgages can be at slightly higher rates than first mortgages, it usually still makes sense because you are paying that higher rate on a much smaller amount. &nbsp;Our mortgage specialists can crunch the numbers for you and let you know which is the best option for you.</p>

<p>Be very cautious when dealing with a finance company when getting a loan. &nbsp;Many people think that they are getting a regular unsecured loan from a finance company but in fact they are obtaining a *secured home loan* which is actually a second mortgage.</p>

<p>Whenever you are dealing with any kind of a home loan, you sould talk to an experienced mortgage specialist.</p>

<p><h3>Apply today for a second mortgage from Moneytime.ca and allow our mortgage specialists to assist you.</h3></p>

		&nbsp;&nbsp;Mortgage brokers in Ontario (such as Mortgage Intelligence, The Mortgage Center, Invis, OMAC,

I should also mention that I will be setting up redirects in the .htaccess file to the following:

Currently: http://www.moneytime.ca/equitloan
Will become: http://www.moneytime.ca/mortgages/re...me-equity-loan

I will setup a redirect so the new one will show... But, I will also be setting up a redirect so that if someone is to type in the dynamic site, that it will also go to the same place:

Dynamic: http://wwwmoneytime.ca/products?ph=EQLOAN
Will Show: http://www.moneytime.ca/mortgages/re...me-equity-loan

So basically, they both point to the same dynamic file with the same pg= variable.

Also, some of the other techniques used in the page construction (ie. titles, meta, comment tags, h1, b, i, tags etc.). Will it be considered spammy??

Are you doing anything that shows different content to SEs ?

Are you attempting to deceive the SEs in some other way?

If NO then you are unlikely to get penalised.

Well... I was really wondering because I read an article whick suggested repeating the meta tags in 3 different comment tags <!-- --> right after the meta tags. I think the rationale was because of many search engines not even reading meta tage but they do read <!-- --> comment tags.

The HTML that I posted was the ACTUAL full page.

Does anyone feel I am using tactics there that are going to get me penalized?

SEs DO NOT read comment tags.

10+ years ago AltaVista could be misled by keywords in comments but we've moved on a bit since then, just a shame some "experts" haven't.

Maybe there is a bug or some glitch that causes multiple comment blocks to be read or maybe it's pure BS.
If it's a bug, then it will be fixed and your "optimising" effort is gone, and like all algo chasing formula theories, you're back a square one wondering why your site suddenly disappeared. If it's BS then you wasted a lot of time putting them in and made yourself look completely clueless when it comes to SEO.
Either way you lose.

Interesting... I had heard mixed reviews on that. That's why I figured I would post about it. I've already taken them out, actually, I just did it for one page and thought I would ask before I published.

Thanks for the tip.
