Hello, I had a few pages crawled by Google a week or so ago. They still have no PR. They probably should since the rest of the simular pages are at minimum PR2. How long is it untill they get PR? I also have internal links on them going toward the home page. I was told, this would help the home page's PR and wieght. So far, it does not appear that they have done anything. Maybe the links are not applied yet? If not, does anyone know how much time it takes from the crawl to application of the links to the home page?

Pagerank is updated about 4 times a year, you will have to wait till the next update, But don't worry about pr.

Like stOx said you have to wait till the next update to see the toolbar PR. Google though most likely has given the page a real PR behind the scenes, which is what they use. The toolbar PR is just something they show to us and it's not the PR you'll eventually see in the toolbar. Two different things and they one we get to see is pretty much meaningless.

That sounds like if I buy a PR7 link to get the page spidered in a day or so, the PR bar on the tool bar will not register it. Is that true?

Yes that's true. But it's only toolbar PR that won't register it, Google will see it and factor it in as soon as they find it in the true PR.. Not that it matters.

The PR you see in the toolbar and the PR Google uses behind the scenes are two different things. So if you get a link that raises your PR Google does count that behind the scenes. You just won't see any change until they update the toolbar PR which usually happens every 3 months or so.
