I just checked the stats of one of my websites, and it shows me that the googlebots visited 19 times in a few hours.

Does that mean anything? In the past they only visit every week or so. Any ideas why they would load my site 19 seperate times from different googlebot IP's?

Google likes to spider - has indexed more pages than any other SE AFAIK. That's a good thing, though.

If you update your pages often, Googlebot will also come back and visit more often. The bot likes frequently updated sites.
