I would appreciate of some one can clarify this:

When we redirect the index page to another page within the site, which page shold we optimize for Search Engine? Is it the index page or the destination page.

I had this problem when I redirected the index.php file in http://www.a1business.us

to www.a1business.us/catalog/index.php

Because I had a confusion about SEO I had to convert the site to full HTML and optimize the index.html file of http://www.a1business.us/index.html

without redirection.

Please help.
