Its been out of Google cache and Index from last month.

I don't know the reason.

Then for few days googlebot just hit robots.txt and then leav but from last couple of days it try to crawl more links.


But amazing thing is that i received visitor from serp.But i am not in cache or index



Please comment how is it possible ?

Well I assume Googlebot just followed a link to your site. Maybe the fact that it's starting to crawl your site again is an indication the site will be back in the index soon.

I'm not sure how, but I've heard pages can rank even if they're not currently in the index. I think it's due to the links pointing to the page and if you have enough you can show up in the SERP's even if you're not in the index.

What keyphrase did you get the visit from?

You probably might be in index of one of the data centers. All data centers are not in sink all the time.

Anyway, wanted to weigh in on this one...

I am currently in an SEOcontest (the ambatchdotcom one - which by the way is how I found this forum... by checking out one of the other contestants) and so am tracking the results of my site fairly closely.

I definately had traffic hitting the site, from Google, before we were indexed.

I had the same thought as shabbirbhimani... but didn't get a chance to check different datacenters to see if we had been indexed somewhere.

It was probably less than 24 hours before we appeared in the index.

This isn't a definitive answer... but I hope it helps
