So I recently submitted my site to search engines, I fear I may have submitted to a few of them multiple times using those auto submitting sites. My web page appeared on google doing a inurl:mysite search once, but then it disapeared!? Any idea's.

There could be several reasons why this happened.

In the Law of The Search Engines (just for fun!) you have to have link popularity.

Hyipo's definition of "Link Popularity"

A site that has sites linking back (must be relevant for high rankings); Link popularity protects your site from being penalized; Link Popularity could get you big in search engines if you don't abuse it.

It could also be if you submited to Google with a unauthorized automated program Google will not like that and maybe think your using spamware and removed your site from their database.

Maybe it's natural for it to go out and maybe to go back in Google. Don't worry. If you think your banned and did nothing wrong, or didn't mean to spam Google tell Google and they should let you go unbanned.

Any more questions?

Also one more thing from my Wisdom and experience:

If Google refuses to unban you forget about it or thinks could get worse. I tried to battle DMOZ (by posting about freedom of speech) and they banned me, and I think they attacked my website. So remember don't do anything I wouldn't do.

The inurl search probably isn't the best way to find out if you're site and pages are in the index. The site:domain.com is the better search. If the site in question is the one in your signature it doesn't seem to be in either the Google or Yahoo index at the moment. If the site is new just get some links pointing to it and give it a little time.

Submitting to search engines doesn't really help, but it's not really going to hurt you either. More something that's not necessary. The more and higher quality links you have pointing to the site the sooner you will probably make it into the index.

I don't think it has anything to do with the theme of the site since I see plenty of 420 sites showing up in results. Patience and backlinks is my advice. I'm guessing the site is relatively new so get some other sites pointing to it and give it a little time.

That's good advice. He's right.

Use the site:mydomain.com for seeing if your sites in the Google database

Also to check your backlinks you could try:

link:mydomain.com for seeing how many sites link back to you.

I checked both for the site in your sig on both Google and Yahoo. Google returned no results for either and Yahoo showed nothing for the site: search and 3 sites for the link: search.

I do think it's just a case of the site being new and not enough other sites pointing to it yet. The link in your sig is probably enough to get the site indexed, but more links will help.
