Im new to google advertising,
ive got meta tags on my site with keywords and a description.

My site is custombebo.co.nr when i search custombebo in google my site is comming up near the bottom of the page could some of use have a look and tell me how to get up higher??

Might be the data center or a language issue or a combo of the the 2.

I searched Google for custombebo and your site was numero dos of 66.

At MSn it was 1 of 8. dos =2.

hey its actually number 7 on google the number 2 one is a member talking about the site, i added the tags last nite perhaps it just takes a while?

also why for instance when searching failure in google it bring george w bushes page up number one?

That George Bush thing was an example of GoogleBowling. Many many people linked to George using 'miserable failure' in the anchor text for the links. That shows the power of anchor text.

It may very well have been time with why your site is doing a little better now, but it's highly doubtful it had anything to do with the meta tags. While you should write a good meta descriptions it's less about ranking and more about convincing someone to click on your link should it show up in search results.

Meta Tags are pretty close to useless. The major search engines really don't take them into account and if they do it's more likely to catch a few spammers.

Try to get more backlinks with anchor text you want your site to rank higer and slowly you will see things changing.
